About
I am New York based focused on documenting the effects of conflict on civilians, humanitarian relief efforts, and politically-induced inequities. After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Psychology, I began a five-year career in communications focusing on civil legal rights for Tennesseans with low incomes.
In 2021, the National Press Photographers Association recognized me as one of the top three “Emerging Photojournalists,” an award for outstanding work by photographers with under two years of professional experience. In my short career, I have worked in five different countries and covered multiple significant moments including the Christmas bombing in Nashville, the George Floyd movement, the January 6th Capitol riot, the 2021 earthquake in Haiti, and the war in Ukraine.
